Anyone try California Chill Frozen Custard in Elk Grove, CA?

Website here: http://www.californiachill.com/

Good article about it here: http://www.sacmag.com/media/Sacrament...

from the article: "California Chill features vanilla, chocolate and cheesecake frozen custard as well as the flavor of the day. More about the choices in a minute. I should tell you I’m a chocolate champ. The first flavor I tried, however, was the vanilla. Joseph had a great line about vanilla in terms of traditional ice cream parlors: “Vanilla is typically a place holder for hot fudge.” This was not a place holder. I was instantly hooked.

We then tasted the chocolate, the rich cheesecake, the bold pistachio and a number of outstanding sundaes. California Chill also pours a great root beer and makes a mean Chicago-style hot dog, but to me, the vanilla is the killa.
