Hey

So what's the best farmers market the city has to offer?? Especially other than Saturday at the north market. I'm not in the city on weekends very much.

Where am I gonna get my best bang for the buck??

The farmer's market at Riverdale farm every Tuesday from 3 or 3:30 has a great selection of organic produce. It's so much better than the East York farmer's market, also on Tuesdays from 9:30 - 2 or 2:30.

Hello all,

I recently visited the Dufferin Grove Park farmers market. It runs 2:30 to 7:00 every Thursday the entire year-winter it is held inside.

It is all organic and local.

Highlights include bulk olive oil from Greece, venison, and the SHITAKE LOG! -for 25 bucks you can grow your own shitakes for the next five years right in your own backyard!

I gree, the Dufferin Grove is by far the best, and Ive been to them all. Go to Ted Thorpe in that market. His stuff is the best.. I can distinguish it just by looking at his stuff.
