Bloom - Summerlicious

Bloom is doing their usual bang-up job for summerlicious. I had the Tagliatelle pasta, Veal Striploin and Chocolate-raspberry ganache tart. Everything was tasty, reasonable portions, and the professional yet friendly service we've had during other recent vistis. They do BYOW ($20 corkage) so we brought a nice 1998 GSM ("The Holy Trinity" by Grant Burge)that was drinking beautifully. If you are looking for a summerlicious spot in the west end, I would recommend it.

  1. We went to Bloom as well. Loved the food, the service, the wine and the atmosphere. The couples on either side of us were great to chat with as well. All in all 2 thumbs up...great that it's in my neighbourhood and we would definitely go back again!

    1. We also enjoyed our Summerlicious meal at Bloom. I had the Gazpacho which was fresh and not at all bland. I also had the veal which was cooked perfectly. I thought the portions for the mains might have been slightly smaller than usual, but then it's not about stuffing your face at restaurants like this, it's about enjoying the flavours the chef put together, which we did!

      Definitely worthwhile checking out.
