Dinner near St. Johnsbury, VT/Littleton, NH

Science Chick Jul 12, 2006 07:31 PM

I previously posted asking for info on the Littleton Diner....now it seems we're going to be spending more time in Littleton than originally anticipated so I'm adding another post....

Any good casual dinner spots around here? Vegetarian would be optimal, but not likely realistic in this neck of the woods. I do see a seafood place (Crustaceans). Any recs?

Thanks so much!

The Creamery in Danville, VT is good. It's 10 minutes west of St. Johnsbury. The pub downstairs is casual - good menu variety. Burgers, French Dip, Seafood choices etc. Upstairs is a more "formal" atmosphere.
Elements in St. Johnsbury is supposed to be wonderful. I have not had a chance to get there yet unfortunately!

Definitely go to Elements. By far the best in the area!

Thanks..Alas, they are not open on Sunday, which is when we need them....Darn, I've been wanting to check them out, too!

The Creamery isn't open on Sundays either. The Surf and Sirloin on Portland Street in St Johnsbury is a good place on a Sunday Evening.
