Watertown lunch ideas

I'm meeting a friend in Watertown for lunch this afternoon and was trying to think of an alternative to the Deluxe Town Diner, the yummy sushi place and Strip-Ts. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Second Shangri-La. Lunch usually isn't too busy either.

Also, Very good sandwiches at Matilda's on Arlington St (over by the late Sepal).

Shangri-La on the Watertown Belmont line. Awesome Taiwanese and a board favorite.

How about Persian food at Jasmine on Mt Auburn or Molana in Wtaertown square?

It's really tough to beat Strip-Ts when it comes to lunch, but perhaps you might want to check out Demo's in Watertown Square? They have very good comfort food as well as Greek food.

Second Demos. This is my favorite of the many Greek places in town. In particular, they have a terrific and very comfort-foody moussaka, and I love the lamb kebabs.

My other choice for lunch in Watertown Square is Wild Willy's (on Arsenal, heading out back towards Target and the Arsenal Mall), which is the closest thing to a proper burger this transplanted Texan has yet found here.
