Tampa Bay Area

I was wondering if anyone knew of any good places in the Tampa area for girls night out??!! We are coming to Tampa for a bachelorette party and would like a nice, fun dinner. Thanks for any help..we're open to any type of food and price range.

Definitely go to Ceviche! Very good scene there...in fact, I just went a couple weeks ago around 11pm with a couple of girlfriends of mine. Had a ball. Great for people-watching and to try a bunch of fun food. Try the Gambas Al Ajillo, a simple but delish shrimp dish.

Which Ceviche yum? there's one in St. Pete and one in Tampa.

Tampa! Has a great location on the bottom floor of some condos. Dark little spot...very alluring. Haven't been to the St. Pete location.

I'd try the Tapas restaurants. There's a place called Spain downtown that often has live music and dancers. The bar is nice and the drinks are very good. Also, a drive down Howard Avenue in the Hyde Park area might be a good idea. The locals call it Restaurant Row as there are literally about 15 restaurants in about 3 blocks. Where Howard meets Bayshore is a high-rise condo that has a restaurant in the basement -- it's called Ceviche. It is very Tampa, dark and sexy. Also, you might look into something in Ybor City, as it sounds like you plan some drinking as well as eating. Happy bacheloretting!

Laurie's post "what are your faves in TB/Clw/ St. Pete?" has lots of great suggestions. You can always put "Tampa" in the Search option now that it's so wonderfully improved. It's a good idea to call the restaurant to make sure they can take care of your party and ask about the tone/ ambiance of their place.
