Billy's Grill "Exotiic" Burgers
Has anyone tried their exotic bugers, i.e. buffalo, venison or ostrich? Any of them worth trying?

I was in the area yesterday and on the recommendation of my fellow chowhounds I had to try this place... it did not disappoint! This has to be one of the best little hamburger joints around town, the cheeseburger was so flavorful, incredible thousand island dressing with fresh red onion, good not great fries but the burger more than made up for it, I will be back and soon! Next: the buffalo and lamb burgers...

I actually *just* came back from Billy's and was going to post about it, but you've already started the thread so... I'll just stay here. :)
Was car shopping on Van Nuys Blvd. (is there something like Chowhound for cars? my.... that would be a LIFESAVER!) and got hungry, so I went to Billy's and ordered the buffalo burger, well-done.
The meat was excellent (like beef, only a bit softer and a richer taste), and was topped with a bit of relish, mustard, ketchup and hot sauce (!! YES:)). The lettuce and tomato were cool and crisp on the burger. The bun wasn't the best I've ever had, but it worked well with the rest of the ingredients. If you're used to the standard beef burger, give the buffalo a shot; it's great.
Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the fries. I'll be letting you guys know how those are the next time I go out.

I stick with the basic hamburger. Too good to change. I have been tempted but the price difference and the fact that the burger is fantastic keep me with the beef burger bargin.
However, on two occasions I have talked with other patrons. One had the Lamb and the other the Ostrich. Both really liked them and came back specifically for them.
The fries are amazing too.
