I had outstanding Clam Chowder at Andrew & Steve's in Astoria this week. It was not thickened at all, and extremely flavorful!!!

Have you tried Dooger's clam chowder (Warrenton, Cannon Beach, and other locations)? It's all about the clams, NOT the potatoes. It's our favorite!

/wow, that was an old post! We are in Seaside right now, Ship Inn, Clemente's and Rogue Public Ale House on Pier 39 all have fantastic chowder in Astoria. We were there yesterday for the Astoria Sunday Market and Goonie Anniversary festivities. :)

Glad you enjoyed Mo's, it's been a family favorite of ours for a long time. I am in Seaside right now, about ten minutes away from Cannon Beach where Mo's is. I can hear the ocean waves as I type, nothin like coastal living! :)
