Brunch Between Silver Lake & South Bay
We are meeting my partner's parents for brunch next Sunday and
are looking for someplace in between Silver Lake (us) and
Redondo Beach (them).
We were thinking Cafe del Rey but they have a prix fix brunch
menu and it doesn't really appeal to us.
My partner's father likes french toast (his favorite
breakfast is the creme brulee french toast at Chez Melange) so
we need a place that has something for him.
Any ideas?

I hear Ocean Dinner in Hermosa Beach has really good french toast. I've never been there so I can't endorse it.
There is also Uncle Bill's Pancake house in Manhattan Beach. It's pretty good, but then again how good can brunch get?
Next to Uncle Bill's is the ocean view cafe, which has an amazing ocean view. They serve little sandwichs, etc. Nothing special or fancy. It's decent food, but its more about the view.
