New School of Cooking v.s. Culinary Classroom????
I am interested in taking a pro cooking class.
Both New School of Cooking and Culinary Classroom offer a 20 weeks pro program.
New School is slightly more expansive ($400 more).
Has anyone taken the class at either place?
How was the experience?
I need to decide between those two schools.

I have a problem with their classes big time. I signed up for one and they break you donwe into groups of 6. All 6 in your group make 2 recipes. I was in a group that was supposed to make a cauliflower recipe. The woman who was supposed to break the cualiflower into florets chopped into tiny 1/4 inch piecs not follwoing the recipe.
Others in the group either didn't know how to measure or cooked their dishes in a pan too large or small for the recipe. Then their was the guy who insisted all dishes neded more salt who had to be continually shooed away. Another insisted on adding ingredients not called for.
In the end I knew a very tiny bit about the 2 dishes my 6 member group was doing ... and absolutely nothing the other groups were doing. It was an absolute disaster.
