Cafe del Rey in MDR?

Any opinions on the food at Cafe del Rey? The view is nice, but does the food match it?

A definite yes! See my response in last week's Ford Filling Station thread

I grew old waiting for the water to be refilled (after asking more than once). And a new glass of wine. And the check. The word slow does not define the service that day. The food was pretty good, not great.

From the outside, yes, it looks a little DATED. But the inside is PURE class... really enjoy my meals there...

fantastic kobe burger, with tomatoes and shitake mushrooms. and it DID NOT have cheese - i do love cheeseburgers but it seems every "high end" burger in LA is a cheeseburger - it makes for a lovely change
