MyChow / Recent Posts - Why is there a penalty for logging in?

So I go to the Midwest board without logging in first, see one of my posts, and click on my name. I get a lovely MyChow page that shows My Recent Posts - all 19 of them. Wonderful.
But I decide that I want to see if there's anything new on any of the threads, so I log in. As soon as I do, the MyChow page redisplays, but shows only 9 of My Recent Posts. Alas, 10 posts have now disappeared.
How come others can see more of my recent posts than I can when I'm logged in? I don't think this is fair, and I'm going to go eat worms.
Seriously - please fix this confusing and unfair discrepancy.
Better yet, how about a feature enhancement? If possible, please change the My Recent Posts feature to effectively search for all posts by the logged-in user, and then display them 10 or 20 topics at a time (with a "next" or "more" button at the bottom). This would be a really nice shortcut for the multiple clicks and page loads that are required to do an advanced search for one's own posts.
In the meantime, a fix for the login penalty would be greatly appreciated.
