went to Mastros tonight.
excellent pretzel bread (crispy crust soft inside) served with good butter.
ordered the wedge of icebergl lettuce w/ blue cheese as my salad.
they delivered a half a head of lettuce that had not been refreshed. it wasn't particularly crispy nor particularly cold. the blue cheese was on the level of the supermarket variety--ok but it didn't come from the purveyors to the beverly hills cheese store.
had the seabass which was saturated with butter. the taste and texture of the fish was swamped by the butter.
the sugar snap peas ($7.50) were also doused in way too much butter.
fun environment with piano bar though.
next time will stick to drinks and bread.
