Any new reviews on Brick now that it's been open for a month? Thanks.

My partner and I went about a month ago and found it overpriced for small portions of uninspired comfort food, a concept that seems a bit passe with SF's return to go-go times. We were so underwhelmed that after we'd finished, we headed over to Saha (in the Carlton Hotel) for a few small plates.

Anyone been here recently? I walked past here on Friday night and it looked quite cozy. I am wondering if it is worth a try.

I've been there a few times and it's very inconsistent. The last time I was there was a week ago and it was very good, the time before that, not so much. Last week we sat in the bars armchairs, and it was a great place to sit-very cozy. We started with a spinach, grapefruit and pistachio salad (I think it had bacon as well) that was fabulous and worth going back for. We also had duck three ways (I don't recommend this dish, it was heavy and boring) and the pork belly which was fantastic. We ordered a side of fries and they were tasty. The time before that, almost everything we ordered was poorly executed and disappointing.
