bought goat milk yogurt on a whim. I am not enjoying it plain but I imagine it would be good in a savory recipe, can anyone recoommend something?TIA
tzatziki! add garlic, olive oil, grated cucumber, salt & pepper. Good with fresh herbs in it too.
serve as a veggie dip, with grilled meats, or just toasted pita.
Make cajeta. Cook it down as though you were making dulce de leche. Reduce it until thick and deep gold. Use as a dessert topping. Sweet and with a bit of a tang. Great stuff.
Sorry, I was reading too quickly and missed that it was yogurt. Blind in one eye and can't see out of the other I guess. But if you do happen upon some Goats Milk, cajeta is a wonderful thing.
Why not do like the Greeks do, drizzle some honey onto the yoghurt and stir it in. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
If you put it in some cheesecloth and hang it for a day to drain, you will have the most amazing, creamy cheese (like Labne). Sprinkle it with Z'atar, drizzle a little olive oil, and scoop up and eat with sesame-laden egg bread....
