The sign outside said months ago they'd re-open in the spring. Now there's no sign on the front anymore and it doesn't seem like any work is going on. Anyone know what's happening?

spoke to the guys at Esposito's next door who claim that Monteleone's is still coming back. Apparently the Camareri Bros. aren't the greatest money managers in the world (hence the closure on Henry St.). The heavy equipment is already in, and the Camareris are getting some new backers, so keep the faith. Hopefully, they'll be back before summer's out, as I am dying for their ices (Court St Pastry simply does not compare, IMO)

Thanks for the update. I just don't get how 2 great places with a lot of business for years could run themselves into the ground.
