Looking for Carne Asada "preparado" in San Jose

Hi there,

Saw an earlier post for the same thing in SF. If anyone knows of a great market to get some marinated Carne Asada ready for grilling, down here in the south bay, I'd love to hear about it.

Thanks in advance!

I prefer the marinated meats at Mi Pueblo market. My favorite is the arrachera - thinly sliced skirt or flap steak marinated in citrus, dried oregano and garlic. Cooked over charcoal for 1 - 2 minutes per side and served with fresh salsa and crema. Cost is usually around $5 per pound, figure about a half pound per person. Also good is the marinated boneless game hen. It is seasoned with chile and also makes great taco's. Mi Pueblo can be found in Mt View off Rengsdorf or San Jose off Story Rd.
