Food after watching POTC in Union Square

Hey hounds,
Need a tasty place tomorrow late night after watching Pirates of the Carribean for 2.5 hours and working up some serious hunger pangs. Will be in the Union Square area with a few friends - would like to spend maximum 15-20 bucks per person not including drinks. Can walk up to Flatiron/gramercy or down to the north end of the east village. Will not eat at Republic. Will not eat at Heartland Brewery or any of that crap. Think ethnic. Think spicy. Think fun. Something like Sala One-Nine but not. Gracias.

    1. Thanks for the recommendations... I have been thinking about Pipa lately. I'm a little worried we will overorder and exceed the budget constraints here and at Aspen due to hunger levels.
      any further ideas?
extra points for a restaurant a little more bang for buck...
      also bonus points for byob
