Bennington VT - Only Blue Benn Diner?

Did a quick search of the boards, and the only real recommendation I'm seeing is for the Blue Benn Diner.
Any other worthwhile places for dinner?
Specifically...Timburr Alley or Hunter's?
Has the Madison Brewing Company improved at all?
I haven't heard many flattering reports, a good Brew Pub is exactly what I am looking for.
I know of Pangaea, but am not looking for that upscale or expensive of an experience.
Many Thanks.

  1. We usually have dinner at the Four Chimneys Inn( visiting Bennington.
Check out their upscale website and expensive, but so delicious, menu.
Everything on their menu is excellent.
The Blue Benn is usually recommended because it's such a great place to eat.
We've also eaen at the Arlington Inn just North of Bennington.
    Again,top-notch food, but very expensive.(
)I don't know if they post their menu online.
    Good Luck!

    1. I have heard good reports about the brew pub but I have never been there. The Rattlesnake Cafe has good gringo mexican. Williamstown has above average Indian downtown, and people speak well of the Thai food too.

      1. Did you miss my "Top 5" post from yesterday? Hunters is fantastic if you like steak, salad or seafood.
