I checked this place out for the first time last weekend I hadn't seen too much on here about the place. But, had a really great experience. An amazing space with a real "wow" factor and very solid food at a reasonable price, I thought. A great spot for out of towners or a celebration with a group.

The service was lacking a little bit, but to be expected in a space this huge.

  1. Yeah, I've been wondering about Carnivale. What do you mean by reasonably priced?

    1. We were there on a Friday night. Entrees were in the $15-$20 range, I think, and they had reasonably priced wines. I guess they expect to make money on their drinks - mohitos and the like - while you wait an hour or more for your table. Reservations are highly recommended, and tough to get except for 6 or 10 pm. I'm not sure I'd go back, unless someone really wanted to go. It's a huge, cavernous space, without warmth, and very noisy. Lots of bachelorette parties the night we went.
