Anyone been to five front recently?

Considering 5 front for a birthday celebration this weekend. The lackluster reports on this board have deterred me from trying it before, but the setting is perfect and the menu seems promising enough... Am I kidding myself?

it depends on what you're looking for - if you want a nice neighborhood spot with reasonable prices and decent food - it's perfect. if you want transcendant food that everyone will rave over and be thankful they schlepped 20 minutes or longer to get to, this is not it.

You are not. I was there recently and had a delicious meal, good wine and lovely service. It's ideal for a birthday celebration. Really pretty patio in the back too. Happy Birthday. enjoy.
