cornish pasties?

Just back from Cornwall and the west of England and craving more pasties... Anybody know of any place in or near Boston that does these well? Meaning, ingredients are not cooked prior to baking, nice thick seams on the crust, nearly as big as a wedge of watermelon, etc?

The only place in the Boston Area that I have had a traditional one is Shay's Wine Bar in Cambridge. Not quite as big as you describe. My preference is for my mothers and her preference is for mine.... you may have the best luck with this. The only special ingredient you would need is self-rising flour, preferably from an Irish store or if not biscuit flour. I mix some broth (chicken or beef) in with the still cold ground beef.
