BBQ Baby Octopus

LuckyC Jul 6, 2006 01:23 PM

I am looking for a recipe or restaurant that serves whole barbecued baby octopus (sounds cruel, I know). I had it once at a restaurant in Melbourne, Australia. It was grilled on an open pit barbecue and was very tender and not chewy like squid/calamari. I have not seen it anywhere else though I've looked.

Sushi Ko has whole baby octopus with a mango glaze (pretty similar to bbq)

Also when you braise it throw a cork in the liquid...helps make it tender as well.
