Vegan bakeries in SEA

I've found a few things at PCC and Whole Foods, but was wondering if other bakeries carry good vegan items, pastries and cakes in particular. Anywhere in the greater Seattle area is fine.

Yes!! Maplewild Bakery and Cafe near Burien.
The vegan cinnamon roll is out of this world!

Just want to add, if you are into making your own, the The Grit Cookbook has an AMAZING vegan chocolate cake. I am generally skeptical of vegan baked goods in general, but I love this cake.

And some of us think Mighty O donuts are absolutely disgusting.

What don't you like about them? They are old fashioned style (cake donuts) as opposed to yeast donuts (like Krispy Kreme). If you are used to Krispy Kreme, then Mighty O may not appeal. They are however the best cake donuts around, vegan and organic or not. FYI, they are working on a raised donut.

They are leaden and for me an inferior product. FWIW, I had never lain eyes on a Krispy Kreme donut until about 2 years ago.

            they also have gluten-free.

I haven't tried them enough to comment on them.

Flying Arpon makes a wide range of very tasty desserts. They are located directly beneath Cedars in the U District.

There's a bakery attached to Julia's in Greenwood and they make vegan carrot cake and chocolate cakes.

Vegan donuts? Check out Mighty-O in Greenlake.

              Hope that helps!
