Vinny's at Night open on Sunday?

maillard Jul 5, 2006 08:37 PM

I am hoping to go there for dinner with family this Sunday, but can't find any information on whether they will be open. Well, actually I can find a few old listings that say they are closed on Sunday, but I am still hoping!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but they are closed on Sundays. Mondays as well.

I have heard that Little Vinny's - run by Vinny's nephew is as delicious and is open on Sundays. Not quite the same, but it is an option if you are bound to Sunday. I'm not sure of the exact address, but it is near the corner of Broadway and Medford Street .

I know that some posters won't agree, but I like Lil Vinny's better than Vinny's at Night, and I believe that LV's is open on Sundays. I always seem to get the stuffed eggplant, but others I've dined with have enjoyed the pork chop with vinegar peppers (similar, I think, to the one served at Vinny's at Night.) We've also had good mussels there, but I don't recommend the calamari, which are ordinary at best. . .

Is Lil Vinny's more expensive than Vinny's at Night? I'm not paying, so am aiming for Vinny's at Night prices or a bit cheaper, I think.

I think the prices are pretty much the same. . .

Thanks, I think you're right. I checked out the Lil Vinny's website and it does seem comparible. So I think we'll go there, unless a better option comes up.
