Versailles Cuban Restaurant? Encino?

I know most of the board goes here for the garlic chicken?

I'm craving some good liver & onions and noticed they serve this?

Any comments or feedback on this dish?

  1. Stuart, never tried theirs but really dislike the place intensely.
    However, have had good liver and onions at Le Petit Restaurant next to the Great Greek and I hear that the Daily Grill of all places does a good version as well.
    Sorry to hear someone in your line of work has become handleless, so I am glad you can now weave your spell on us in lieu thereof.

      1. I've been to Versailles on Pico. It was my first time eating Cuban food and neither me nor my dining companions liked it very much. One got the pork and one got chicken but they both tasted the same and came with lots of raw onions - and everything was doused in way too much lemon. But maybe this is how Cuban food is supposed to taste?

        I ordered the plantains because I had a craving. Their plantains were all right. They didn't look great but they tasted fine. Not crispy at all in case you like them with a little crunch...
