Coming on business in a month or so. After Musso and Frank's, where should I eat in Hollywood. I won't have a car.

You might get more responses if you indicate where you'll be staying in Hollywood.

I'll be staying at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel on Highland above Hollywood Blvd.

Not having a car in Hollywood is not a problem at all, because the Red Line subway runs down Hollywood Blvd.

Hollywood is also rich in great restaurants. Here are my recs, depending on what you want:

      Soul Food:

      Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles
Get the chicken and waffles (duh!). The waffles are amazing.

      Thai: Ruen Pair

Amazing thai food in the heart of thai town. I like the papaya salad, shrimp cakes, pad thai, etc. I also hear they do excellent fried morning glories, by have not tried them. It's really yummy, cheap, and closes very late (like 4am).

Zankou: Get shawerma sandwiches or some chicken with the fluffy white garlic paste from heaven. It's delicious.

If you don't mind walking a little...

close to the corner of Sunset blvd and la brea, there is Mashti Malones ice cream, which makes incredible, exotic ice creams (check out the thread on them currently active)
