Meet the parents

I am having dinner next week with my parents and my fiancee's parents. They have not met before. I am looking for a place on the East Side, preferably in the mid 20's to go to dinner. Sit down dinner, not expensive. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  1. With so many restaurants to choose from, a few more specifics will help narrow things down.

    1. What cuisine(s) do you prefer?

    2. People's idea of "not expensive" can differ substantially. So, what is your per person budget? And tell us if that figure includes drinks, tax and tip.

    1. I think Giorgios of Gramercy would be perfect for such an occasion, although it might be out of your price range. Also, Park Bistro. Entrees are in the late-teens.

      1. I second Giorgio's although it can get a little pricey. Novita and Metrocafe & Wine Bar are also good options that are less expensive. For outdoor seating with a casual environment I would recommend Mumbles.
