I'm looking for somewhere for a long, lazy and traditional french lunch (brasserie style, 20/30 Euros a head without wine, there may be 4 or 5 of us too) in the 17th or close by (it'll be a Saturday) Also, are there are any places for a nice breakfast/brunch in the same area too? Thanks so much.

  1. For matching your requests with my recent experience I would recommend L'Entredgeu on Rue Laugier, especially since you specified Saturday, which is not quite as crazy/busy for lunch as it is on week days. The chef worked with Thierry Breton of "Chez Michel" fame. On the other side of the 17th you might like Le Bistral on Rue Lemercier, or for a few euros less and a little funkier, L'Abadache, across the street.
