House of Prayer barbecue in Fort Lauderdale

Found a listing (see URL below) for a barbecue place at the House of Prayer Church. Went there on a Saturday (as described) and could not find the church. Luckily, saw the Texas Hold em barbecue place nearby and was pleasantly surprised by the pulled pork, the sides (mac and cheese, greens) and barbecue sauce. Anyone know what happened to the House of Prayer?

  1. That list is years old. I could be wrong, but here's what I recall: A few years ago, there was a barbecue stand in the Shell station's parking lot called Noble Jr.'s, which I assume was run by the son of the preacher/pit-boss behind House of Prayer.

By about two years ago, that spot, in the outbilding and parking lot of the Shell station, had either morphed into or been taken over by the guys who went on to open Texas Hold 'Em down the street.
