Looking for something comparable to Fuller's Chiswick Bitter

I'm looking for something comparable to Fuller's (in my opinion) Chiswick Bitter. It's an excellent young, malty bitter with a nice amount of hoppiness. Apparently they're bottling it now, but I haven't seen it yet here in the States. I've also heard that it's not as good as the casks, so can anyone recommend a good cask/keg beer that is similar AND available here in the States, particularly NYC?

  1. Email Alex Hall - this guy is THE resource for cask ale in the nyc area - his email is at the bottom of this page.

    1. DBA sometimes has Bluebird Bitter in cask, which I like even more than the Fuller's. They are always rotating their cask selection, well worth checking out. Gale's Conquest Ale is a bottle conditioned beer that comes close to a cask conditioned style beer, although a bit stronger than a typical bitter.
