Daisy May's Cart

Is there a better chili to be had in Manhattan or anywhere for that matter than Daisy May's "Bowl O Red"-no beans extra hot sauce? I think not.

Which cart are you visiting for this? I think there are a few (and quality may vary).

47th and Park-always great. The pulled pork sandwich too!

      I so agree.

The chili is not cooked at the cart, which has always led me to assume it comes from the Daisy May restaurant kitchen. In which case, quality should be consistent across carts, although it might theoretically vary from day to day.

Daisy May's Cart is certainly a nice addition to the neighborhood... for those of us stuck in the hell hole that is midtown lunch...

On the topic of the Daisy May cart, I've been trying to catch the one on 49th between 6th and 7th for awhile now. I saw it once, but haven't seen it since. I tend to take a late lunch, does the cart leave the premises around 2? Do I need to go early to catch it? What do you think?
