Whole Fish (or other foods) on a Grill Pan?

I was just reading the recent thread on grilling a whole fish outdoors and was wondering if anyone has tried this using a stove top cast iron grill pan?

Seems I've gotten into a rut albeit a tasty one of just using my grill pan for skirt steaks and the occasional veggie.

    You are right, for veggies, for my weekly chicken rations. I also plan to use it soon to make Paninis! :)
