Headed down to OC for a week. Haven't been there in a couple of years. Curious as to what recommendations there are for dining out (go ahead & include AC down to Avalon)

Cape May has some very nice restaurants. I know you didn't want to go down that far but I think they're the best. If you're willing to wait (no reservations policy), I think the Lobster Trap in Somers Point is good food and fun (not gourmet). They have live music on weekends. In the same vein (although I believe they do take reservations) is Urie's in Wildwood. Although if you're willing to go that far south you should go to Cape May. I like 401 Bank St. in Cape May but there are several good restaurants there. Atlantic City isn't my style but I hear there are outposts of Susannah Foo and other Philadelphia favorites.
