It's actually one of the few really good places in Japantown. Food is on the traditional side. Prices are moderate, not really a cheap eats joint. I love the sweet shrimp nigiri since they are the freshest you can get around town. There is a tank of them situated in front of the restaurant. The shrimps are fished out and prepared to order. Service is efficient, but cold at times.

Haven't been there for a couple of years but they were known for the cooked rice pots (seafood, chix & pork) with veggies. They do take 30 minutes to prepare and are somewhat pricey but worth the experience.
