Skewers - Queens

Anybody been to Skewers in Fresh Meadows lately? Any recommendations?

We have been to Skewers for lunch and dinner. The food was very good. The atmosphere and service were good. They have live music on Wednesday evenings and they have a special of buying 3 entrees and get the 4th entree for free. Check if this info is still current. The shish kebob dish (dinner) and the chicken marsala(lunch) were good.

Has Skewers closed?

Yes. It's been closed for a while. There are some newer places on Union Turnpike if you're looking to eat in the area. Check out Piyaz. For lighter fare, Cafe Yotveta has some great fish dishes.
