Spanish place(L.E.S.) that also inherited chef and recipes from Italian place that closed?
This is for inveterate "'hounds" who remember mention here of a Spanish place around 1st Ave. I thought it had El in the name. It had the reputation of having absorbed a chef from an Italian place that closed. I heard the chef still does some of her signature Italian recipes from the place that closed at this Spanish or maybe Mexican place. It used to be posted about a lot here and is very reasonably priced.
