Napa Style?

Junie D Jun 29, 2006 03:16 PM

I was given a $50 gift certificate to Napa Style - Michael Chiarello's catalog - and cannot decide what to use it for. I don't want to kick in too much more. Everything seems SO expensive. I am leaning toward three French dishtowels for $42 and that just seems silly. Any suggestions? Something great in there I am missing?

IF you really can't find something, consider selling the gift certificate on Ebay.

Personally, I'm enamored by the NapaStyle Artisan Series Salame Set... I keep hinting, but no one's taking the hints! Or some of the salts and spices could be fun... the rare salt collection, for instance.

Have you checked out their online sale? Several cute things there at prices I would consider spending a GC on vs. the original price, such as the mini cast iron bakers.

I would love that GC. There is so much you can get foodwise. I love their lavender honey, grey salt, preserves, olive oil, chocolate sauce and much more. He has the best food products.

Thanks all. You highlighted the fact that the web site has a lot more choices than the catalog, so I will have to study it.

They have great salts and salt blends. Right now I am using the smoked chardonnay salt a lot.

The Meyer Lemon Marmalade is spectacular!
