Where to buy potted herbs?

Any ideas on where in the city to buy potted herbs? Specifically looking for a potted basil plant.

Home Depot. Potted herbs are getting to be all the rage.

We have always bought basil from the greenmarket in USQ as well. They have all types. Our backup option (more expensive but also more convenient for us) is Chelsea Gardening Center. Fewer options, but still good, and they can give you great planting advice there. Basil is somewhat tricky to grow, so we've found this helpful.

Lots of neighborhood nurseries and flower shops sell them, as well. I've seen them at Home Depot, too.

I bought 3 different types at the Union Square Greenmarket, and could have bought many more. They are all wonderful.

I would try any of the Greenmarkets. I usually buy my potted herbs - great plants and good prices. I like the big one in Union Square.
