My boyfriend and I will be spending one night in Madison and want to go somewhere GOOD to eat for dinner? Any suggestions? We are open to all types of cuisine.

    When are you going?

My wife and I are visiting Madison next Thursday-Saturday and we'll be eating at no less than four different restaurants (all new to us, so I can't give you any guidance now)...BUT if it's after Saturday 7/8, I'd be happy to give you a report.

Our plans are: Lao Laan-Xang, Le Chardonnay, Monty's Blue Plate Diner, and Buraka. Anything else we hit will be unplanned.

EDIT: I just realized you're asking about Madison, IN...those places I mentioned are for Madison, WI. So disregard.

idk how you are getting there, but gnaw bone food and fuel (just west of columbus) is always talked about on this board. i stopped there last week.... the tenderloin sandwich is awesome. Juicy, tender.... mmmmm

If you are near Louisville, Rich O's Public House in New Albany is one of the best beer bars in Indiana. 40 or so taps, 200+ bottles, and they are brewing their own now too. Go for the beer, but the food isn't so great.
