Basil Shallot Mignonette?

I had an incredible dinner last night (High Street Cafe, West Chester, PA) and as one of the courses we had Oysters on the half shell with a shallot Basil Mignonette. Anyone out there familiar with this "sauce"? I am afraid I can't stop thinking about it:)

I imagine it is a basic mignonette with basil added? Mignonette is a classic French sauce that is easy to make-- just look online for recipes.
