Raw goat milk in LA

Looking for raw goat milk in LA to make cheese at home- nothing pasterized, and Whole Foods doesn't carry it!!

Anyone else make their own cheese?

The older post recommending Rawesome is a good tip. Way beyond organic type of place (fed all grass, no corn, no soy and no G.M.O's and no grains)--this is food without a bar code/ I shop there regularly and they do indeed have raw goat milk (not to mention raw goat yogurt, raw goat kefir, and so on...)

Hours are Wed 12-8 and Sat 9-4. Membership is required/

Will certainly try halal stores, thanks for the tip, Joe Blowe. I'm also looking for raw (or at least not ultra-pasteurized) sheep milk...

The folks at the raw cow's milk stand at the Hollywood farmer's market gave me this tip on Sunday:

            Rawsome
            665 Rose Ave.
Venice 90291 - West of Lincoln
            Wednesdays and Saturday afternoons.

Let me know if you get there before me!!

Have you tried any halal stores?
