Dates are wrong (and some are missing)

AnneInMpls Jun 27, 2006 10:51 PM

There's some date weirdness going on. The "Discussion for" date doesn't match the posting date. Because there are no dates on the posting summaries, things get really confusing really fast.

For example, on the Spirits board, I select "Date Started" order, and I see:

Discussions for Thursday, June 08, 2006
- Allergic reaction to alcohol
posted by reallyrednails
- Best Margaritas - need recipe
posted by deborah
- have to serve cocktails - any suggestions?
posted by george

But in the message, the original post's date says:

posted by george on Jun 16, 2006 5:51 PM

The date mis-match is confusing.

Also, it's very confusing not to see a date with the posting's title in the summary. It would be really helpful to see both the date/time of the original post and the date/time of the last reply.

Thanks,
Anne

More date problems - when I search for a post, and find a long list of posts, many have dates of 6/26/06 or 6/27/06, when the original post was earlier than that.

(For example, I did an advanced search for all messages from me.)

I'd like to see the OP date instead of today's/yesterday's date.

    Thanks,
    Anne
