Adding html links to your profile in My Chow
While the message fields don't support html, the fields in the My Chow profile do. Here's what you can enter in the local board field to take you directly to the San Francisco Bay Area board.

You can click on my name in the "posted by" line to go to my profile to see what it looks like.
P.S. I saw Jeremy Osner's profile and got the idea from him. (g)

Very good to know Melanie.
Maybe those unfamiliar with html would like to know this is how to add your email, using as an example my email address - business94105@yahoo.com
I put this at the end of the Top five restaurant section on My Chow.
<b>Email address:</b>
<A HREF="mailto:business94105@yahoo.com">business94105@yahoo.com</A>
For those of you new to html, those two lines don't need to be separate. You can run it all together in one big line or just cut and paste as is, substituting your email address for mine.
I just wanted it to be a little clearer that the first line results in the words "Email address:" being displayed in bold letters.
<b> Begin bold font for the following
</b> End bold fontAnd if you don't want the words 'Email address:" displayed, just copy and paste the second line.

Ok, I tried to follow these directions - and I thought it worked initially. But now when I look at myChow it's just showing the html code, rather than the spiffy links it should produce.
What'd I do wrong? Or does it look right to others, and just look funky to me?
Thanks,
Kathy/Kuisine (formerly KathySK)

re: Kuisine
Thank you. I don't think you are doing anything wrong. I see that too for EVERYONE's profile.
I didn't report it because I don't want to report stuff that might be me and not the software. I emailed people to check out my profile because my "My Chow" page is totally screwed up.
Kathy, if you can, could you look at my user profile.
I would log out and look myself but I can't log out. It won't let me
