Yes, I noticed people walking in & saying they had a reservation. Nice of them to seat me w/out one! I was in & out of there rather quickly! You must have been there later than I was? It was a roomful of women when I was there (unless your moniker is deceiving?!)

I did go (solo) this eve (had to be in the area anyway) - walked in around 7:10 - was seated at a table for 2 and felt very welcomed - they actually said to me "we don't discriminate against 1 person!" Had the lobster roll - I thought it was very good - up there with Mary's & Pearl'- perhaps a tad smaller - found the sweet potatoe chips (I wouldn't really call them fries) to be tasty. Parties on both side of me were enjoying cockles - I will have to go back for more of the menu - which I hear will be changing for the season in July. (and I was out of there by 7:45 or so).

There's no bar or counter, but I've eaten there by myself. The waitstaff was fine with it (it was on the early side, around 6:30 pm).

Does anyone know if there is a bar / counter at this place? Does it lend itself to a solo lobster roll dining experience, like Mary's or Pearl's would?!
