Home cheese making w/o an AC
I got the whole kit and kaboodle for Christmas, including the cheese press.
But we don't have an AC, and we're having a heat wave here in LA.
Has anyone had experience with finding a location in the house that is room temp no matter what? btw- our house is on stilts, so the basement is not an option.
You might want to look into getting a temperature/humidity controlled fridge. I don't have one but when I was trying to make hard cheeses I remember finding some gadget designed for beermaking that would keep the temperature and hunidity at the right level in a dorm fridge or something small like that.
