Group dining around Broadway and Canal

Hey all:

I've got a big group (12+) people coming in to see an 8pm play on Friday night. The theater is on Broadway and White Street, and I'm trying to figure out a place nearby where we could all eat beforehand. Nothing too fancy. Just tasty and not too expensive. Some of the Chinese places on Elizabeth etc sound great, but it's a little too far of a walk (we've got some seniors in our group).

Any suggestions?

New Yeah Shangai Deluxe is a wonderful chinese spot in chinatown. Bayard between Mott/Elizabeth (across the street from New Green Bo). Nice atmosphere, very clean, plenty of space, and great food.
