Bachelorette party in South Beach

Going to South Beach for a weekend in July for my best friends bachelorette party. We are all in our mid-20's and coming from New York, Philly and DC. Saturday night we want to go out for a nice dinner and wild girls night out. Also suggestions on places near the beach to eat for the rest of the weekend. Decent, reasonably priced dinner for Friday and somewhere cheap and fun for lunches too (that we could go in beach clothes) would be great. Any type of food is oaky but we are gonna be a big group so the menu should have something for everyone.

  1. The #1 recommendation for a Bachelorette Party dinner location is Opa. There are several locations in SoFla, including one in South Beach. It's good food, great drinks and dancing on tables with loud Greek music (and with cute Greek waiters). It's a lot of fun!! That would be great for Friday night -- just keep in mind that you'll have to wait a bit for a table.

    1. I went to Opa for my sister's bachelorette party and we had a lot of fun. It was reasonably priced, and fun for a not-trendy, but crazy night out. We then walked to the clubs nearby. The previous night we went to a tapas place called Tapas & (?). It was good, but much more low key. Have fun!

      1. Opa is great (although I think the official name is Taverna Opa) but it's not your typical trendy South Beach spot. It probably would be fun for a bachelor/bachelorette party though. I lived there for 18 years...I should know! I'm in LA now, but I miss Miami Beach!

How much is reasonably priced? That'll help narrow places down.

But as for other places to eat throughout the weekend, make sure you get to Big Pink (great for breakfast, brunch, lunch or late night), Joe Allen (more of a trendy locals spot), Hosteria Romana (on Espanola Way - all the waiters are italian and will serenade you), and try to make it to Joe's Stone Crab if they're open (I'm not sure if they're open this summer though...)

Tons of good bars and clubs around all of these restaurants.
