Early Breakfast, West End?

Anyone have a recommendation for great breakfast and brunch for an early riser (why does everything open at 10 or 11???), other than the Sunset Grill? West Toronto area - from Yonge to Kipling, Lakeshore to St. Clair, ideal.

The warehouse grill in liberty village (liberty & fraser) opens for breakfast at 8am on weekdays & saturday now...

Not bad, the homefries are particularly tasty, and if the weather is nice the patio is great...

Just had breakfast at Boom--All Day Breakfast, on College, just east of Dovercourt. It opens at 6 am. Pretty good, but I prefer the Mars at College and Bathurst, also open early.

                My Favorites:

                P & M Restaurant, 1972 Weston Rd (N/lawrence) Open at 8AM

Dundas Street Grille, 5238 Dundas St. W. (W/Kipling) Open at 7AM

They have the best breakfast and you'll be greeted just like family after a couple of visits........who says Toronto is a cold and unfriendly city??

I'd recommend the Purple Onion is on the east side of Keele south of St Clair W. They open at 9 am.

It's a diner that has great diner breakfasts as well as the usual lunch and dinner suspects. They are also known for their good and inexpensive steaks. It ain't a high falootin' steak house, but tasty inexpensive beef made as ordered. We were there today and I had a tasty 6 oz steak and eggs for $7.

bar one on queen street opens at 9. And I THINK, but I'm not sure if Butler's Pantry (Queen & Bathurst) opens around 9 - but I am not 100% sure.

Saving Grace opens at 9am I believe. You may want to check though. They have amazing omelettes, frittatas, and scrambled eggs.

SAVING GRACE (907 Dundas West, 899-9186)

If you would like an early greasy spoon local try the Lucky Dice at lakeshore and 6th St. It's a traditional greasy spoon so don't expect anything fancy.
