Does anyone else feel that the "NEW" flag (in board view and in thread view) is just a bit too unobtrusive to easily notice when scrolling? I wish it could be colored or something to stand out just a bit more conspicuously
This would also stave off the mods and I needing to explain to everyone to look for those flags.... :)

Jim, I don't want to sound like a broken record (I brought this up earlier), but if the software is capable of flagging what is a new post or reply to you, then it is capable of not showing you replies that were already up when you were last on the board. (Most boards that include this option show you the original post and all replies since the last time you went to that board, and this seems perfect to me).
Of course, some would want the ability to see the whole thread even if they've had the opportunity to read it, and could so toggle, just as you can sort threads now by time of original post or by last reply.
There's no other feature for hard-core users of boards to speed up the process, and it solves most of the negatives of threading.
